Kitchen update

This is where we are tonight... most of the cabinet above the stove is gone, which leaves us with a pretty good dry wall/patch job to do next.

This is what the kitchen looked like the very first time we saw the house. I can't believe it didn't scare us away. I only wish the floor showed in this picture... it was the oldest, worst, fake-brick linoleum that you can imagine.

The lighting is kind of bad in this picture, but you can see the view from the whole kitchen now that the cabinet is gone. It's so bright in here now!
